In 2012

The Cookie Law came in to force in 2012, and requires websites to be more transparent about what information they collect from their users, what they use this data for, and crucially, gain their consent. Consumer concerns around data privacy are growing, and the omnipresent Cookie popups have become an increasingly intrusive part of our daily web life. We want to make this interaction a more positive experience.

I am a Cookie

Every second, millions of clicks are wasted, informing and gaining consent in a form that is typically not even read, just acknowledged, while in the real world every 3 seconds, someone dies of cancer. So while can’t avoid this requirement, we can try to divert attention to something that can help us all bridge the gap to a healthier life, by helping beat Cancer.

We can all help

We at nitro believe in change and that’s why in 2019 we will donate 3p for every cookie that we set to World Cancer Day. Together we can make a difference.

Each year on 4 February, World Cancer Day empowers all of us across the world to show support, raise our collective voice, take personal action and press our governments to do more. World Cancer Day is the only day on the global health calendar where we can all unite and rally under the one banner of cancer in a positive and inspiring way.
